Flooring is a key element in a dog's home environment and can greatly impact their mental and physical well-being without their owner even realising it. One of the things a physiotherapist will assess on an initial visit is the flooring in the home and how your dog navigates the space, observing for slips, skids, bracing, and nervousness. Simply laying secure rugs on wooden hallways and corners can greatly reduce your dog's anxiety and injury risk.
